About Me
A little about myself. I have been raising and
showing rabbits for over 20 years. I started as a
beginner in the late 80's. Have always had
Holland Lops but have had many other breeds
along the way. After I had been a member of the
ARBA for a few years I got my registrars license.
Went to many shows and was the registrar for a
couple years and then decided to go on and
become a Judge. I have now had my ALL Breed
license since 1994. I have judged every breed of
rabbits there are. But my passion still comes
back to the Holland Lops. Currently I am the
Zone 8 Director for our National Holland club
HLRSC where I have been a director for 3 years
now. I am also an active member of the Ohio
Holland Lop Rabbit Fanciers, where I hold a
position of director and also Michigan's Holland
Lop Express the local club. I show in a lot of the
local show and judge all over the country.
For the past 3 years I was in a co-op with
Stephanie Valentine. This was a very fun and
rewarding experience. Stephanie and I worked
very well together and had some awesome
wins along the way. We had several Best 4
Class Wins and Several Best In Show Wins. We
traveled to a lot of National and Convention
shows together. I think my favorite being the
trip to Georgia Nationals. Where the phrase
"Shut up and Eat Your Crackers" came about. I
don't think I have ever laughed so much for so
long in my life. But as all good things they come
to an end. We have decided to go opposite
ways for this year of 2008. Good Luck to
Stephanie and her bunnies.
I live in a small town in Michigan not too far from
Lansing. Along with the rabbits I also have a
passion for my dogs. I have raised Doberman
Pinchers and Dachshunds for many years also.
