About Me
Welcome to our website.  We hope you enjoy your stay!

We have over 20 years experience breeding and raising Holland Lops.  Brenda has been
a licensed ARBA Judge since 1994 and has judged rabbits all over the country.
Through the years we have both experimented with many different lines, learning how to
build the best holland lop possible.  In 2005 we decided to form a co-op.  We had been
purchasing rabbits from each other and sharing breedings, plus Brenda needed someone
who knew her rabbits to put them on the tables while she was judging.  At the time it just
made sense.  Combining the 2 rabbitries was no easy task, even though we had similar
bloodlines, we still had 2 separate herds going.  Some crosses worked, many did not.

In 2008 we took the year off from showing as a co-op.  As a co-op, we enjoyed alot of
success on the show table, however, we reached burnout and both needed to re-evaluate
our breeding programs and get our herds in line.  It seemed we were still competing with
each other instead of working together.  That was the hardest obstacle to overcome.

After a year of breeding, and very limited showing, we looked at where our rabbits stood.
We found that genetically both lines were tighter than they had been in the past, the
outcrosses for the most part were gone, and we had 1 main line between the 2 barns.  In
2009, we brought the co-op back and even though we are not showing as much as we did
in the past, our hollands are still a force on the show tables.

Today the LL and Broo's prefix's are interchangeable, thanks largely to GC LL Starbuck.
You will find Starbuck behind just about every rabbit from both barns.  Starbuck was 1 of 3
bucks, including full brother GC LL Texas and half brother GC LL Angus who are larely
responsible for what our herd is today.  Those 3 bucks are direct descendants of
Stephanie's foundation bucks: GC Critter Co-op Tyler, GC Camelot's Top Gun, and GC
Sarah's Tuscany.  The LL bucks combined with GC Broo's Cryptonyte, GC Camelot's
Passion, GC Broo's Blackjack, Broo's Sergio, GC Washburn's Roberto and most recently
L&R Chad make up a foundation that has truly pushed our rabbits towards perfection.
Our current herd bucks are breeding very consistently, and we can now trade rabbits
between the 2 barns with predicatable results.

We enjoy helping new breeders get started, as well as helping established breeders
advance their herds.  You will find many top show rabbits in both open and youth on the
tables dominating their classes that are either directly from us, or go back to our lines.
